This search for a streamline approach has created an increasing demand for qualification such as the PMP (Project Management Professional). The Project Management Institute (PMI) has awarded this certification to more than fifty-three thousand professionals around the world.

Project management professional can now have the necessary techniques to make sure that they estimate workload and cost effectively. Considerations are also given to quality and risks.
In order to take part in the exams the project manager must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4500 hours of practice. If his level of education is of a secondary degree or associate degree equivalent he must demonstrate a minimum five years/60 months unique non overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks.
During the PMP project management exams, the applicant must answer two hundred MCQ questions during an allotted time of 4 hours. There are no provisions for time break during the exams but you can do so if you want. The exam clock will continue to run however. The PMBok covers the planning, implementation and supervising stage of a project, in short, the whole life cycle of the project.
